Thunder Cycle Designs
Problem:
Thunder Cycle Designs needed to implement new machines to ensure faster and more efficient manufacture of creative custom motorcycle parts after a surge in competition from international manufacturers.
Solution:
The shop invested in a NEXUS QTN-200 MY CNC Turning Center and NEXUS VCN-510C Vertical Machining Center, which were able to complete most parts in one setup and also reduce cycle times by nearly half. This improvement in productivity allowed Thunder Cycle Designs' highly imaginative and shiny aluminum and stainless steel parts to reach the market faster than the competition.
